Uberhood Round 1 Pleasantview in the Spring
If you saw my previous few blogs, you will have seen that I was building up towards starting my first Uberhood. This was simple to set up and followed my other discussions on blogs. Thus Strangetown and Veronaville are not included. Veronaville has been a main playthrough of mine since I returned to the Sims 2 fully (deleting the Sims 4 from my life...) a few years back. Strangetown, in a previous blog I explained is not set at the same time interval as the rest of the Sims 2 neighbourhoods, and thus won't be included in my Uberhood.
So my Uberhood will consist of Pleasantview, Bluewater Village, Riverblossom Hills, Desiderata Valley, and Belladonna Cove.
I am aligning all the neighbourhoods to make round 1 Spring, because switching season 1 to winter for most towns (second autumn for the beach area that is Bluewater Village).
Below you will see each run through of roughly what happened in the household this round, with new family additions pictured and a small screenshot of my spreadsheet at the time their round ended. Yes I track my sims on quite a meticulous spreadsheet, I am somewhat of a swap for details! So buckle down and enjoy the read.
Lothario Household
Don played through a few extra days of the prep round or round 0 i.e. the winter round in Pleasantview and then through spring for round one his main focus was of course WooHoo, gaining both the Caliente sisters as lovers/conquests, as well as Ivy Coppur and Sharon Wirth. He continued to work on his career getting to level 6 and becoming the General Practitioner for Pleasantview.
Goth Household
With the relationship with Don rocky, Cassandra attempted marriage only for Dina and Don to make out during the event, Cassandra to fight with him and he to leave her at the alter. Since then, Cassandra is looking for love but hasn't exactly done much with it. A kiss with Chester Gieke and a little flirt with Connor Weir, but nothing major on the horizon.
One drunken night, Mortimer got engaged to Dina, despite Cassandra having just been arguing with her for losing her Don. But that engagement didn't last long, Mortimer was already dating Betty Goldstein, and Dina found them in bed together so Mortimer ended it with Dina and she left looking for a new rich husband to score from...
Alexander grew up here into the Fortune Sim he is destined to be, but with my calculator he should have been Family and so I used Family as his secondary. Lets see if he will be more family or money focussed. I think he will be more family focussed because Secondary Aspirations tend to have a bit too much weighting on what my sims want to do I tend to find.

Caliente Household
The Caliente's were women of town in this round. Nina was woohooing with whoever she could alongside working as a Stand-up Comedian in the entertainment career. As well as Don Lothario, Herb Oldie became her conquest as did Julian Cooke and Daniel Pleasant. But she and Dina has the cold twice during this round so this slowed down their progress.
Dina spent this round desperately hoping to get engaged to what felt like every rich man she could find. Dina started the round newly engaged to Don Lothario as Don had the fear of her rejecting his proposal (which in my game equates to a want to get engaged) at the end of the prep round. So Dina caught Don cheating, Shocker!, and fell back in love, then had an affair with Mortimer herself during Don's round and he broke up with her. Then as I said above Mortimer proposed to her and then broke up with her, so by the time we got to the Caliente round she was through two engagements and desperate to marry a rich sim still!
After fighting with her sister regularly! A WooHoo with Darren Dreamer and Geoff Rutherford, she proposed to Geoff (of course only for his Rutherford wealth!) leaving him potentially wanting to marry her at his own round?
Broke Household
As they usually are, the Broke's were a tough play in round 1. Dustin was struggling with school, Brandi was sewing and not making much as a seamstress.
The Broke's ended more broke than ever. Yes they have £322 in funds but through work and school Dustin needs £150 for the time he has worked in hi personal bank, whereas Beau needs £200 for school gains (Drums and stuff) so Brandi will let them deposit that when she is in the green next round (Hopefully). Dustin did no real focus on school for Angela Pleasant so their relationship is dropping quickly into the early 90s for both STR and LTR.
Of course we haven't mentioned baby number 3, Brandi gave birth to daughter Kelsie who is an Insane Loner, so let us see what fun she will get up to in this house of negative finances! haha
Looks to me like little Kelsie looks far more like her mother than her dead father...
Dreamer Household
Now the Dreamers had rather a boring time this first round. Darren was just wanting to paint to pay the bills and Dirk wanted to play with his helicopter and go to school, so that is exactly what they did, bish, bash, bosh, Dreamers done...
Pleasant Household
Daniel and Kaylynn are still continuing their affair but Daniel is pretty damn smart with when he does them, often waiting for Lillith to be the only one home, who would believe that unwanted brat afterall he probably thinks? Mary-Sue hasn't realised he has also been having an affair with Nina as well as Kaylyn, she is too focussed on her career and Pottery. mary-Sue has worked up to level 5 in the Political career and despite all the WooHooing, Daniel has made it to Coach at level 9.
Angela was really wanting some friends this round and they all seemed to be boys! Just as she was friends with Jacob martin, she then wanted Rick Contrary and had 2 bolts with him and so they got friendlier and friendlier. Lillith was of course ignored by her family and me mostly (Ooops!) most of their round but did get her first WooHoo in with Dirk this round. Lillith became friends and best friends with Violet Jocque as Angela was hoping to make a move on Rick Contrary, then boom in comes the Cinematic of a first kiss. But who? It was Rick Contrary and Violet Jocque and Angela in the background was fuming. Citing her sister had planned it all (I am sure) and fought Violet and kicked off, arguing with her and throwing drinks! Angela made the move on Rick herself, she has 2 bolts with him and only 1 with Dustin Broke, and WooHooed with Rick. Let us see how this relationship goes when we get to his round in Desiderata valley.
Burb Household
The Burbs began with a longer Winter round of 5 days and in this time Jennifer got a job in the Business career using her Literature degree I gave her. Lucy found out her hobby was Film and Literature and her subcategory was reading books aka Bibliophile and began doing very well in public school. Jennifer fell pregnant and had a baby girl called Katie Burb. lastly the set-up round has John want to get a job and Medicine seemed to fit and he became a Paramedic. Returning to them for Round 1 Spring, saw Lucy grow up into a teenager and become a Family sim with a turn on of ginger hair. Sadly despite her long-time wants of first kiss and falling in love, she has had no luck so far. Karen Gast the nanny was rude to everyone. I swear these nannies are always just vile human beings! John was crying daily over her! John was promoted to Nurse and Jennifer to Junior Executive. Lucy has the sim 3 trait of light sleeper which became rather annoying with a baby sister and pet rat in her room, so as a teen I build her a little outhouse to be her room with a bedroom and bathroom.
Katie grew up to a toddler and learnt potty, then into a child gaining the traits Good, Loner and Neat respectively. John continued his gardening, whilst fortune sim Jennifer was desperate to get promoted constantly and kept learning skills to help her in that pursuit.
Here is little Katie enjoying a jump around on her bed, now a room she gets to have all to herself - Yippee!
Oldies Household
The Oldies moved in and I merged the 'Crittur Household' into them in the prep round, they make sense as the dog owners I always feel. Of course Sarah had puppies: Sadie, Jet and Wishbone, and in the main round they were adopted by Tessa Ramirez, Gilbert Jacquet and Xander Roth respectively. Herb has been cheating as a romance sim on Coral with Brandi Broke, Nina Caliente, Catherine Viejo and Coral caught him with Brandi broke s they are currently not doing great in their marriage. Despite this Coral (via the ROS) wanted to host a cook-a-thon making 9 meals for her friends and family to enjoy and let her know which was best, the only key event that happened was that the Pleasant girls had a huge fight and Lilith won!
Traveller Household
Yes, the Travellers in my Uberhood are here in Pleasantview. They were added with Bon Voyage with the intent from EA/Maxis to be added to a current hood I presume. At this point only Pleasantview, Bluewater and Riverblossom are the only options in my hood that would be viable for the Travellers at that time and Riverblossom and Bluewater just didn't feel the right fits for them, so they moved in just across to the right from the Goths. The infamous 5 bed house where most of the rooms can't fit a decent bed haha!
Trent with his Biology degree wanted to be an adventurer and became a deep sea diver and Trisha fell pregnant in the set up winter round. In Spring Tabitha was born and Trent worked on his skills for his job, the fortune sim cycle strikes again, whilst Trisha worked on making friends, specifically Lucy and Jennifer Burb and Opal Contrary. Tina tried to get an A+ at school (which seemed to take forever!) and eventually did it! And is now ready to age up well Whoop Whoop!
